Local Color Studios is an on-line photographic arts gallery dedicated to showing the overlooked beauty of the Mid-west in photographs and art prints. We are based in Southwest Iowa, the heart of the United States, and we spend time capturing the contours of the bluffs, the winding rivers and streams, the charm of our small communities and the drama of our cities. Frost On The Bluffs--A photo taken one morning a few weeks ago, showcasing the trees growing on the beautiful Loess Hills in Iowa, glistening with frost. I especially like the counterpoint of the warm tall grass in the foreground against the wintry trees.---T.
